As a former RN I am extremely selective and have high expectations of anyone that I allow to take care of my body. I came to CALM healing to help with the continued healing of my herniated disc. There were some muscles that were not working like they should and I had some pain in my calf due to the disc herniation. He used a variety of treatments between acupuncture, ultrasound and PEMF (magnetic field therapy) and they had significant impacts on my body. The only reason I'm not still seeing him is because we moved out of the area.

I want to tell you about one moment in particular that felt like magic. I still can't actually believed what happened - my left leg (the one affected by the disc herniation) was not working well against resistance when moving to the side. He used an acupuncture needle into one of my abdominal muscles and I kid you not, re-did the same test and suddenly those leg muscles were turned on. This happened 2 months ago and it still feels magic.

I highly recommend Riz and Calm Healing.  Riz took the time to listen to the pain I was experiencing related to my tennis elbow and shoulder.  He was highly knowledgeable of different treatment methods and was able to tailor treatment according to my needs, which included both traditional acupuncture and Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy. You simply will not find a more caring, compassionate and competent practitioner  in the fields of Acupuncture, PEMF and  newer modalities like Stem Wave.  Riz is amazing at listening to your symptoms and developing a plan that applies these tools and technologies to make you better.  My personal journey has been one of lower back issues with degenerative disc disease, Lyme’s disease and Afib.
